On Monday, 17th April, Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) star, Virat Kohli was fined 10% of his match fees for breaching the IPL Code of Conduct during the match against Chennai Super Kings (CSK) at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru. The announcement was made by the Indian Premier League (IPL) advisory after the high-octane encounter that saw RCB lose by 8 runs.
The Incident in Question
Kohli admitted to the Level 1 offence under Article 2.2 of the IPL Code of Conduct, which led to the fine.
