India takes lead without losing a wicket for the first time in Test Matches

India achieved the unique milestone during the first test against West Indies

India have dominated West Indies on the first two days of the first test both with bay and ball and is expected to do the same on day three with Jaiswal set and Kohli looking in good touch. One can expect a run-fest on day three of the test match. West Indies have looked clueless with the ball with the pitch getting slow with every passing session one can expect Indian batters to take full advantage of the batting friendly and score big runs in the first innings to put pressure on the West Indies. The Caribbean team has looked short of options with the ball and with Rahkeem Cornwall not on the field the situation has gone from bad to worse as they are now playing the waiting by drying up the runs from both ends and expecting batters to make mistakes like Shubhman Gill did when he defended a ball with hard hands and was out caught. The right-hander would be disappointed as he missed a golden opportunity to make a solid case for himself at number three.

Jaiswal makes the opportunity count

Yashaswi Jaiswal notched up a century on debut something which was expected from him because of the way he batted in the later stages of the final session on day one. One of the key features of his innings has been the patience that he has shown till now. Batting has not been easy in Dominica as the pitch is offering a bit of turn for the spinners. But Yashaswi has shown solid defense against the spinners and has waited for loose deliveries which he has made full use of.
