Ending the previous year with 1164 runs in 31 matches, Surya has carried his excellent form into 2023, amassing 592 runs from 17 matches at an impressive average of 45.53 and a strike rate exceeding 153. It’s noteworthy, however, that despite Suryakumar’s individual brilliance, India experienced a setback, facing a loss in the recent T20I encounter.
