Hyderabad FC- financial strugglers of ISL

Hyderabad FC has been going through one of their biggest turmoil in their history, as they would be facing North-East United in their next game, with only four foreign players available, owing to two of their players leaving the squad midway, citing financial issues which have compelled them to depart the club. The Southern club from Telangana is currently facing a major issue at the club, and are reeling on the last spot at ISL table, and are without a victory in eight games, mustering three draws and five losses. They are behind ISL debutants Punjab FC, who are also on a winless streak in eight games.

Among the players who left the squad in Felipe Amorim, who was asked to decide his future, after his salary was unpaid for multiple months, as he had played for six games for the “Nizams”. He had resorted to social media to announce his decision of departing the club, as he became the second person to leave the squad.

A source had informed several news outlets that “Felipe was among the group of foreign players who put the club on notice regarding nonpayment of salaries”.

Oswaldo Alanis- the first player to depart the club

Apart from Amorim, one more star was shown the exit door last week, when Mexican defender Oswaldo Alanis got frustrated with the surmounting financial struggles in the club, compelling him to depart the club. Not only did he leave Hyderabad FC, he has considered ending his career at the “Nizams”, rather than continuing at Indian Super League or waiting till the transfer window opens at January.

According to several sources, Oswaldo’s salary was ultimately cleared after a stern reminder, which does not work well for any party- be it the player or the club.

It was reported that “The problems at Hyderabad FC are mounting with each passing day. Even the calmest of players are now losing their cool.”

According to some close sources, it has been informed that Hyderabad FC could not mane any reinforcements to their squad as they are currently under the scrutiny of a FIFA transfer ban, which bars them from signing new players. as they were convicted of non-payment of dues for former star striker from Nigeria, Bartholomew Ogbeche.
