Gabriel’s explosiveness on the flanks and ability to get the better of most fullbacks is one his key attributes and this is the main reason why he is making himself irreplaceable and is one of the most exciting prospects in the squad.

Arsenal’s future is safe

Upon his new deal Arteta said, “We’re delighted Gabi has signed a new long-term contract. Our supporters see his quality and energy every single time he puts on the shirt and he’s the same every day in training, with his hard work and positive values.

Gabi is still very young, so we know there’s still much more to come from him and it’s great that we’ll be on this journey together. We’re now excited to continue to develop his huge talent and look forward to seeing him perform with Arsenal in the years to come.”

Due to some of the match-winning moments he created this campaign, it resulted in Arsenal being at the top of the table in the PL and also being 5 points clear. The Gunners would now be hoping to tie down William Saliba’s and Bukayo Saka’s contract extensions as their deal runs out in 2024.

And this season with the help of these youngsters, Arteta would be looking to end a 19 years drought of not winning the league.
