Eduardo Camavinga signs new contract with Real Madrid until 2029

Eduardo Camavinga signs new contract with Real Madrid that will keep him at the club until 2029 and will also include a €1 billion release clause.

The talks had already taken place to renew his contract after agreement was reached last month. The Frenchman’s salary will also increase after this renewal.

Camavinga follows Vinicius Junior (2027) and Rodrygo (2028) in signing new deals this year. According to reports, Eder Miliato and Fede Valverde’s contracts will also be announced shortly.

Los Blancos are renewing the contracts of their future stars quickly, as they don’t want their players to leave for a Premier League club or even Saudi Arabia.

Eduardo Camavinga signs new long-term contract with Real Madrid

Real Madrid signed Camavinga from Rennes in 2021 for €31 million plus variable add-ons after they failed to sign Kylian Mbappe.

Los Blancos were scouting him for almost two years when he was in Rennes, but they never thought of signing him in that summer. Nevertheless, they travelled to France to secure his signing out of nowhere.

Camavinga has made 15 appearances in all competitions so far this season and has stood out for footballing and personal qualities.

The 20-year-old can play in three different positions, as a centre midfielder, defensive midfielder and at left-back as well. Ancelotti has used him in all three positions, and the Frenchman has delivered every single time.

Real Madrid have done an incredible job by renewing his contract, as he will help the club in the long-term success.
