Chelsea get Premier League approval for new shirt sponsor

The Premier League have finally approved Infinite Athlete as Chelsea’s new front-of-shirt sponsor for the 2023/24 season.

Furthermore, according to The Telegraph, the deal with Infinite Athlete is believed to be worth £40million for the season. And with the Premier League finally giving the green light, the fans will soon get to see Infinite Athlete appear on Chelsea’s shirt.

This is a big news for Chelsea as they have played six Premier League games without a front-of-shirt sponsor this season.

The Blues have not yet announced anything about the new shirt sponsor, but an official announcement is expected in the coming days. Moreover, the new sponsor is expected to appear in the next game week against Fulham.

Infinite Athlete approved as Chelsea’s new sponsorship

Infinite Athlete’s logo will appear on the shirts of both Chelsea’s men’s and women’s teams.

Chelsea started the new season without a sponsor on their shirts after the contract with Three expired. Moreover, a proposed deal with Paramount Plus was blocked by the Premier League, while the Blues pulled out of advanced negotiations with Stake.

However, it is not yet revealed if Infinite Athlete will be their shirt sponsor for just this season or whether the deal will continue past the current campaign.

There are some possibilities that Infinite Athlete will be Chelsea’s front-of-shirt sponsor only for this season, with the partnership taking on a different form after that.

The Blues have met Saudi airline Riyadh Air, and they could be a potential sponsor for next season.
