Regional qualifiers determined the final eight spots, emphasizing regional action to identify the remaining teams. Africa, Asia, and Europe had two qualification spots each, while the Americas and East-Asia Pacific regions had one spot each.

Americas Qualifier:

- The USA, not qualifying automatically, made Canada a favorite, and Canada secured the Americas spot.
Asia Qualifier:
- Nepal and Oman earned qualification.
- The Asia Qualifier featured intense competition, with Nepal beating UAE in a decisive encounter to secure their spot.
East Asia-Pacific Qualifier:
- Papua New Guinea dominated the regional qualifiers, winning all six matches to secure their place in the tournament.
Europe Qualifier:
- Ireland and Scotland emerged as the qualifying teams.
