Coach Replacement for Australian Open
The absence of Ferrero at the Australian Open will be addressed by Samuel López, who will take on coaching responsibilities in Ferrero’s stead. This change in coaching personnel comes as a setback for Alcaraz, considering Ferrero’s significant role in his training and performance.
Juan Carlos Ferrero is expected to resume coaching Alcaraz at the tournament level during the Indian Wells Masters 1000 event. The event is scheduled to take place between March 6-17. During the South American tour in February, Antonio Martinez Cascales, a coach who has worked with Ferrero before, will step in to coach Alcaraz.
