Even though the Italian demanded the signing of a few players, including a striker, Real Madrid did not heed his demands. The manager was shocked to see the club’s reluctance in investing in new players. The club believed no new signing was needed.
Ancelotti had his head filled that Real Madrid’s faith in him had been fading, similar to his first stint at Real Madrid, where he faced similar doubts and questions about his future. The doubts over Ancelotti’s future further accelerated with the recent links to the Brazilian national team.

Especially in Copa Del Rey, the Merengue have what it takes to overturn a one-goal deficit against Barça.
