Cadiz 0-3 Real Madrid: Jude Bellingham scores again, making history with Los Blancos, eclipsing several records

Real Madrid have edged past FC Cadiz by a margin of 3-0, as Los Blancos regain their top spot on the La Liga table, surpassing Girona who have a game left to play. Their star recruit Jude Bellingham has got his name on the score sheet once again, as he etched his name in the history books by surpassing any star in his goal scoring numbers.

Real Madrid defeats Cadiz

Real Madrid continued their fine form in the domestic sector, as they defeated lowly Cadiz, who are battling for a secure spot within the league this season. Carlo Ancelotti’s men went in to the game being the stronger side, as they were impressive in their last few games, having already qualified for the second round of the coveted UEFA Champions League. Owing to the likes of their latest recruit Jude Bellingham, who have wreaked havoc in the Spanish football circuit with his exuberance and class, as La Liga welcomed him by humming “Hey Jude”, and Rodrygo and Vinicius’ fine touch, Real have been top class this season.

Last night, Ancelotti made his men start in a 4-2-2-2 approach, with midfield stalwarts Modric and Kroos on the line-up, assisting Rodrygo and Joselu up front. Lunin started the game as his defensive wall comprised Rudiger, Nacho, Mendy and Carvajal, an experienced four-throng defense which was enough to prevent Cadiz to go forward with their attacks. Cadiz, on the other hand, started with a defense-heavy approach of 5-4-1, with Marti marshalling the attack.

Rodrygo opened the scoring for Los Blancos, with hitting another brace in the second half. But, it was Jude Bellingham, whose maniacal scoring prowess was once again the talk of the town, as he eclipsed another record with his goal on the 74th minute.

Jude Bellingham- the legend

Jude Bellingham has once again showed the world why is he being called as one of the best stars among the ranks of Real Madrid. After signing from German side Borussia Dortmund, who narrowly missed out on the Bundesliga title to serial winners Bayern Munich, Jude has been creating records at the Spanish capital. He has scored in almost every game, and who would forget his last-minute winner against Barcelona in El Clasico, scoring in typical Richie Benaud style-“he did it through the legs”, when he slotted past the ball through the legs of Marc Andre-Ter Stegen, achieving the heroic victory for Real.

But, Jude’s goal last night should bear a special name in history, when he etched his name in the record books, by becoming the first person to score more goals in first 15 games, surpassing legends like Cristiano Ronaldo and Alfredo Di Stefano.

He has scored 14 goals in his first 15 fixtures for Los Blancos, making him the first person to eclipse the 13-goal record. He has bettered several Real Madrid maestros in the process, which include Karim Benzema, Ferenc Puskas and Raul. Ronaldo, who us also the highest scorer in the history of Real Madrid, has finally seen someone who have bettered his record at the Spanish capital. 20-year old Jude is thus set for the sky, as his soaring numbers would be the talk of the season in the long run, which might provide an impetus to England’s EURO tourney in next summer, as Jude would be expected to showcase his mettle in that tournament too.
