Asian Games 2023 Cricket: Team List, Schedule, Squads, and Everything You Need to Know

The 19th edition of the Asian Games is set to kick off on September 23, with select sporting events starting from September 19. Among these events is Women’s cricket, scheduled to commence on September 19. Notably, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has sent both the Men’s and Women’s cricket teams to participate in the Asian Games. Ruturaj Gaikwad will captain the Men’s team, while Harmanpreet Kaur will lead the Women’s team.

The top four teams in the rankings have secured direct qualification for the quarterfinals. Start Date: The Women’s cricket event will begin on September 19, while the Men’s cricket event is scheduled to start on September 7.

Gold Medal Matches: The final for Women’s cricket in the Asian Games is set for September 25, and the Men’s cricket event Gold medal match will take place on October 7.

India’s First Match: India’s Women’s team will commence their journey on September 21, while the Men’s team will make their debut on October 3.

Venue: All cricket matches will be hosted at the Pingfend cricket field.
