France international, Kylian Mbappe is currently in a very dicey situation with his club Paris Saint-Germain. And according to Daniel Riolo, this situation will end with Mbappe remaining with the Parisian club no matter what for the next season.
Daniel Riolo says Kylian Mbappe would remain at PSG
Daniel Riolo, the Sport journalist at RMC is the one who had previously broke the news about Lionel Messi joining PSG from Barcelona back in 2021, and according to him, the French icon will not be changing his stance on remaining at PSG after the club launched an ultimatum against him.
Mbappe had earlier announced to the Les Parisiens that he had no intention of signing a one-year extension of the contract which would take him until 2025 with the Ligue 1 giants, which would mean that he would be becoming a free agent by next year.
Consequently, PSG, who were shocked with Mbappe’s statements, gave him two options, one, he could either extend his contract and remain for another extra year with the club, the other being that he could leave this summer itself with a possible record-breaking transfer fee.
However, Kylian Mbappe has been adamant on his decision of rejecting both the offers put forward by Al-Khelaifi and wants to remain at the French capital only for the remainder of his contract and then leave next season as a free agent.
Kylian Mbappe would stay in PSG, even if benched
According to RMC Sport journalist Riolo, Kylian Mbappe would be remaining at PSG for next season and even if the club board decides to bench him throughout the season, Mbappe would still stay at with the Les Parisiens, and that he is ready to accept the situation if it unfolds.
PSG who were hoping to earn a mammoth bag by selling Mbappe for a €200m transfer fee, took to undermine the French icon, according to the football pundit, and that this has only reinforced his wish to play a sort of hardball with the club.
Riolo stated that Mbappe has been dragged through the mud and that there is no way out of this contractual situation and that the only way for PSG is be the tough guy here and inform Mbappe that he will be benched throughout the season since he did not renew.
