And they are currently 9th in the League table and if they indeed they want to play European football next season, they need to get back to winning ways as soon as possible. And at home against a side like Barcelona might be the perfect opportunity to send out a statement that they are back in form.

However, beating Xavi’s team won’t be that easy cause Barcelona have been in terrific form this season as they are currently 2nd in the league table with 28 points only behind to their arch-rivals Real Madrid by 3 points.

So the players know that they need to stay in the title race and have to put the pressure back on Madrid by winning this game. But Barca were knocked out of the Champions League this week and they’ll have to play in the Europa League this season which is surely a huge blow for them mentally.

Hence, Valencia could take advantage of their mental state and knock them down at home which would be sensational for the. All in all, it would be an interesting match.
