The club football season has indeed taken a break of 2 weeks and the players are back on International duties for their respective national teams. With that in mind, it’s the final 2 gameweeks of the UEFA Nations League and the teams that top their respective groups on the last matchday will qualify for the knockout stages and the teams that finish last in their groups will get relegated.

Now in the last matchday, Switzerland will host their arch-rivals Czech Republic and this is a game which is a relegation battle as whichever side wins this match will not get relegated. This is because at the moment the Swiss are currently 3rd in the table with 6 points and the Czechs are bottom of the table with 4 points.

So Switzerland knows that a draw might be enough for them to survive in League A and not get relegated to League B. However, the Czechs don’t have a choice other than to win this match in order to stay in League A, so surely they’ll give it their all for their survival.

But it will be difficult for them as they are facing Switzerland away from home and with the support of the fans and the quality that the Swiss have might just be enough for them to win this game. All in all, it would be an interesting match.
