Son Heung-Min scores a sensational 13 minute hattrick as Tottenham thump Leicester City 6-2

Spurs treat the fans with a classic premier league match as they win 6-2 over the foxes. Son ends his goal drought with a 14 minute hat trick.

Match Summary

As soon as the refree blew the whistle to start the game , the tie was up and running as both the team got in action.

A crazy half  first ten minutes were because of a penalty awarded to Leicester City which was taken by Youri Tielemans and got denied the  first time by Hugo Lloris but unfortune for the French Goalie the penalty was retaken as he was off his line.

Tielemans does not disappoint the fans again and scored the penalty. The quick reaction from spurs came just two minutes after when a delicious ball was delivered in the box by Kulusevski and Harry kane was their to head it home.

Conte’s side has been deadly from corners this season and they proved it again as Eric Dier scored with a leaping header to give Spurs the lead. On the brink of half time on the 47th minute James Maddison with a delightful  finish the Englishman brings the foxes level.

After the second half whistle its was all spurs , on the 47th Minute Bentancur scores with a mistake lead by Wilfred ndidi who gave the ball away and the North London team got the lead [3-2].

The magical substitution of Son acted as a catalyst in the thrashing victory as the Asian footballer of the year scores a hat-trick within just 13 minutes.

Son didn’t have a goal contribution this season which lead to Conte to bench him. Son came on and started running past Leicester’s defence and created spaces for the spurs.

Son scored 2 bangers and one clinical finish to put the game to bed . On the 73rd minute the spurs man scored and absolute banger with a finish from outside the box and on the 84th minute a curler that ended up in the back of the net from outside the box as well. The Korean finished the game on the 86th minute with a good finish and shushes his doubters over his poor form.

Brendan Rodger’s Job is in Danger

A horrendous start to the season by Rodgers side sees them at the 20th position in a relegation battle with 7 games played 6 lost and one drawn. This winless Leicester side has picked up 1 point from 21 points and still Brendan is in job, it is astonishing that Rodgers has survived this far in his job. Surely it wont be long until we see a new manager come in for the foxes.
