Pro Kabaddi: Arjun Deshwal becomes first raider to compete 150 points in season 9; overtakes Naveen Kumar to become top raider

Arjun Deshwal is certainly the star of this season of VIVO Pro Kabaddi. He has been in phenomenal form this season. And has another milestone to his name to show for it.

The Right raider from Jaipur Pink Panther has emerged as one of the players to watch out for. He has every skill in his locker when it comes to raiding. Hence, he has been a menace for the defenders on the mat.

Arjun Deshwal completes 150 points in PKL 9

Arjun Deshwal showcased his prowess yet again yester in the derby match between Mumbai and Jaipur.

Deshwal picked up 13 points in the game to become the first raider in PKL 9 to go past the total of 150 raid points in the season. With this, he also took over Naveen Kumar of Delhi to become the highest scoring Raider of the season.

This is not all for the list though. As Arjun Deshwal also completed 10 super 10s of his season. A feat that was exclusively his until Bharat of Bengaluru Bulls joined him later last night.

As things stand, Arjun Deshwal is the top raider of VIVO PKL 9 with 161 to his name from 14 matches. This means that now he averages more than 11 in this season.

Jaipur Pink Panthers hand U Mumba a hard lesson

Jaipur had a repeat telecast of their previous victory over Mumbai, earlier this season. The Pink Panthers came into the game as the hot favorites and they played like one too.

Owing to some great raiding by Arjun in the early part of the game, they were quick off the blocks. Then the defenders came into the play to round things off.

Sahul Kumar, Sunil Kumar, and Ankush picked up 4,3, and 3 points each. This helped Jaipur Pink Panthers defeat U Mumba by a strong margin of  10 points.
