PKL: Jaipur Pink Panthers halt Gujarat Giants winning run; beat them 25-18 in Tripple Panga encounter

In the second day of Tripple Panga in Pro Kabaddi League, Gujarat Giants took on Jaipur Pink Panthers for a low scoring thriller.

Both the teams came into their second game of the week on the back of a victory. However only Jaipur could get away with a victory in this low scoring encounter. They defeated Gujarat by a margin of 7 points in their 25-18 victory.

Since it was a low scoring game, you can guess that both the defences were firing on all cylinders. And Jaipur’s defenders showcased pure brilliance in defence.

Jaipur Pink Panther continue their winning run

Their star defenders Ankush, Sunil, and Shaul picked up 3,2, and 2 points respectively. While a total of 10 points in raids were equally scored by Rahul Chaudhary and Bhavani Rajput.

For Gujarat Giants, Prateek Dhaiya carried the burden of scoring points in raids. But his 6 points couldn’t guarantee a win for his side.

However, the silver lining for Ram Maher Singh and his team will be the defence that didn’t leak a lot of points. Hence, they came off the game with a solitary point to showcase for these efforts.

With this victory Jaipur Pink Panthers climb up the table to the second position. While Gujarat Giants remain in the lower half of the table.
