Pep Guardiola signs a new contract with Manchester City; know contract details
The Manchester City fans and players can breathe a sigh of relief as their manager Pep Guardiola has signed a new contract extension.
Ahead of the 2022/23 season there were a lot of speculations about his future. Many sources close to the Catalan coach said that he would take a sabbatical from coaching.
But Guardiola has put an end to all the speculation by putting pen to paper.

The deal took place on 23rd of November when Guardiola was in Abu Dhabi for the Formula 1 Grand Prix later this weekend. There he is said to have had a talk with the Club’s hierarchy.
Manchester evening news confirms that the deal went though smoothly given that Pep Guardiola wanted to stay with the club.
The new contract will keep him at the club for 2 more years. Meaning Pep Guardiola will complete 9 years with the club.
“I am so pleased to be staying at Manchester City for another two years,” said Guardiola. “I can’t say thank you enough to everyone at the club for trusting me. I am happy and comfortable, and I have everything I need to do my job as best as possible.
City chairman Khaldoon Al Mubarak said: “I am delighted that Pep’s journey with Manchester City Football Club will continue. He has already contributed so much to the success and fabric of this organisation, and it’s exciting to think what might be possible given the energy, hunger and ambition that he clearly still has.
