Pakistan PM takes Indian cricket team following England’s annihilation at T20 World Cup

With a satirical tweet, Pakistan’s Prime Minister mocks India’s exit from the T20 World Cup:

Pakistan Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif took a jab at India after Rohit Sharma’s team was knocked out of the T20 World Cup by mighty England on Thursday. Chasing India’s challenging total of 169, England openers Jos Buttler (80) and Alex Hales (86) made a joke of the Indian bowling attack, stitching a merciless 170-run combination to propel their team to the T20 World Cup Final against Pakistan.
The final score of the semi-final match between India and England was 168/6 & 170/0.
Pakistan Prime Minister Trolls India on twitter
As startled Indian fans watched their side fall in what turned out to be a dismal semi-final, Pakistan Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif lashed out at the arch-rival neighbors, referring to two of India’s greatest T20 World Cup defeats.
The English team, led by Jos Butler, won the toss and chose to bowl. And it appeared like they made the correct decision, as they suffocated the Indian top order early on, sending opener KL Rahul back to the dugout after only 5 runs.
Following his near run-a-ball performance, Indian skipper Rohit Sharma came back to the pavilion after scoring 27 runs off 28 deliveries. Suryakumar Yadav, India’s most consistent performer in the tournament, was caught by Phil Salt off an Adil Rasheed delivery, raising the anxiety for the men in blue with the score at 75 for the loss of three wickets in the 12th over.
But, just when things appeared grim, Virat Kohli and Hardik Pandya put on a show for the Indian fans in the grandstand and at home.
Kohli, who has found form in Australia, fought hard to get 50 off 40 balls before Pandya showcased his hard-hitting prowess by scoring 63 runs off 33 balls to guarantee India set a target of 169 for the English to pursue. The result was devastation.
