It’s the last matchday in the Premier League before the FIFA World Cup starts and this weekend Newcastle United will host Premier League giants Chelsea at St. James’ Park. Now Graham Potter’s men are coming into this game in a disastrous form as they haven’t won their last 4 league games and they also suffered a loss against Manchester City in the EFL Cup which meant they are knocked out of the competition. Moreover, due to this winless streak in the PL, they have dropped down to 7th in the table, hence today Chelsea will be motivated more than ever to break this curse and go into the World Cup break with a win.

However, beating Newcastle United won’t be that easy cause they are in sectional form as they are on an unbeaten run of 10 games and they’ll surely look to continue on their winning momentous against Chelsea too. Eddie Howe’s men still haven’t lost a game at St. James’ park cause even the likes of Manchester City and Everton did not manage to beat them away from home. They are also 3rd in the PL table and if they win this match, they’ll cement in their place in the top 4 at least until December. Also, with the incredible crowd support that they’ll be receiving might just make things difficult for Potter’s men.
