According to fresh reports, the negotiations between Rabiot and the Red Devils has collapsed because of the high wage demands that the midfielder is asking for.
United consider those demands as outrageous and have hence walked away from the agreement. But soon after this collapse the Premier League side have been linked with yet another player and this time it’s a midfielder. And according to various reports in the English media, the midfielder linked that is linked to a move to Old Trafford is none other than the Real Madrid legend Casemiro.
It is also believed in Spain that Ten Hag’s club have already submitted a bid to the La Liga giants in order to sign their star midfielder who is also a 5-time Champions League winner. The Red Devils everlasting search for a perfect midfielder to solve their problems has been dragged throughout the transfer window as a whole lot of players like Frenkie De Jong, Declan Rice, Jude Bellingham and of course many more have been linked with the club. However, now the Brazilian Casemiro is the latest one to join this long list of players.
Despite a 55 Million Euros bid for the 30-year-old midfielder by United, the transfer move is seeming increasingly unlikely with Spanish media reporting that Real Madrid have absolutely no intention of selling Casemiro as club’s manager Carlo Ancelotti fully counts on him and he has told the Brazilian that he is a crucial part in his plans.
But United do have time to convince Madrid to sell their captain as 2 weeks of the transfer window is still left and within that 2 weeks, a lot can happen. United could certainly take the help of Raphael Varane who could play a crucial role in convincing Casemiro to arrive at Old Trafford.
