Manchester United agree personal terms with Adrien Rabiot

Rabiot to Manchester United

According to widespread reports in the English media, Manchester United have agreed personal terms with Adrien Rabiot and his agent. It was reported a few days back that United have also agreed a deal with Juventus which would cost them around 20 Million Euros in order to sign the midfielder.

He is a player that’s going to come in the squad with the major aim to replace Scott Mctominay and try to take the Red Devils to another level. And right now the level of United is at the bottom of the Premier League table after 2 games as they have already conceded 6 and just scored 1 goal.

Manchester United to buy Adrien Rabiot

The team’s midfield is heavily criticized as they are extremely imbalanced, they lack chemistry between them and are constantly exploited by their opponents and hence Rabiot might be a person that could solve their problems.

But his signing has received mixed receptions. There are some fans that don’t consider him upto the level of their club. He is no longer in his peak years cause if he would have arrived at Old Trafford 4-5 years back, he could have marked an era at Manchester. But now t fans expect United to sign a better midfielder than him. Earlier Frenkie De Jong was the perfect signing for them but they failed to complete the signing.

There are also reports Rabiot is not an Erik Ten Hag singing as he had preferred to sign other players. But this is just the management giving the fans something to be excited about. However, the Frenchman is certainly better than most of the players in United’s current midfield.

He might not be at the level of De Jong, Fabinho or Kante. Which speaks about the hierarchy of Manchester United have set the performance bar at a very low standard as just being better than Mctominay isn’t going to win them trophies. So it would be interesting to see whether or not Rabiot can prove the supporters of United wrong.
