After the end of one of the most thrilling group-stage matches in World Cup history, the knockout games have begun with the Netherlands, Argentina, France and England already progressing through. This time out the 2018 runners up Croatia will face Japan who are a team that are having a sensational run in the tournament. The Asian side are coming into this game as group winners and they deserved that as they defeated the European giants like Germany and Spain.

This clearly shows that they do have the potential to pull off a shocking result against any team in the world. However beating Luka Modric’s side won’t be that easy cause although they don’t have the team which was so successful 4 years ago, they still got talent in them. They managed to knock out the World’s second best team Belgium from their group in order to qualify for the round of 16. So with the experience that they have might just make them win this match. But they would need to be alert against the Japanese players as the would be giving it thier all.
