Hector Bellerin joins Barcelona as free agent from Arsenal; Know contract details
Barcelona has got their hands around another player from Premier League. This time the target achieved is Arsenal’s Hector Bellerin. The deal has been significant as they loaned their only right back, Serginio Dest, to AC Milan earlier today.
Hence, they had to fill the position as soon as possible. And now they have by acquiring a like-for-like replacement from Arsenal.

According to reports by Fabrizio Romano, Hector Bellerin is set to join the Catalonian side for a one-year contract. The contract, as of now, doesn’t include any extension options. So, the player is set to stay in Barcelona until June 2023.
However, for now, the fullback is in conversation with Arsenal to reach a mutual termination of the contract. So that he can join Barcelona as a free agent.
This move has come out of the blues for the fans of Blaugranas. Nobody knew Barcelona was looking for a fullback until the deal between Dest and AC Milan was finalized. This left a considerable space at the back for Barcelona.
In the previous La Liga match, many pundits pointed out that their new signing Kounde was seen playing as Right back, while Sergi Roberto came on as a mid-fielder and even managed to score a goal.
This move makes it clear that Xavi sees Roberto as a mid-fielder and not as a right back, where he has been playing for the past few years.
Hector Bellerin will make things easier for the club, given he stays fit. The ex-arsenal man has good experience of La Liga as he played in the league on loan.
