Graham Potter set to be appointed as the new Chelsea manager; Know Contract details

Graham Potter will be appointed as the Chelsea head coach , the English manager is set to leave Brighton.
After Thomas Tuchel was sacked by Chelsea on Wednesday which was surprising for the football world , eye brows were raised on the replacement for the German manager and Graham potters name was top on Todd Boehly’s list. Graham was one of the front runners for the job as he was getting optimum results out of that Brighton team. This morning the Brighton manager was spotted heading back to Sussex after he held talks with Boehly in person.
Potter Contract Details
The 47 year old had opened talks with Chelsea on Wednesday after their manager was sacked. The Englishman will be the ideal replacement for Tuchel as Potter is expected to become the Chelsea manager. Verbal agreement is in place on the contract and long-term project, documents are now being prepared. Potter is set to leave the Seagulls as Chelsea will now discuss with Brighton for the compensation and all the final details to complete Graham’s appointed within the next 24 hours. Potter used to earn 2 million per year at Brighton,whereas Thomas Tuchel used to earn 7 million per year at the Stamford Bridge before his dismissal. Clearly Potter is set to have a great upgrade in salary, Graham also had a release clause of 10 million. The Blue’s owner’s mind remains unchanged and is set to bring the manager , the whole operation would cost about 20 million.
Transfer Details
The likes of Zidane, Mauricio Pochenttino were also there in the race and were discussed by the Chelsea board but Todd was impressed by Potters work at Brighton and was the contender with the upper hand.
Brighton have also began their search for a new manager as a replacement for Graham Potter.
