This time out the European giants would face the African champions Senegal at the Al Bayt stadium for a place to be in the quarter-finals. Now coming into this match, The Three Lions are the rightful favourites as they are still one of the few teams that are unbeaten in the tournament and they are coming off a sensational win against Wales where they scored their 100th goal.

However, beating the African side won’t be that easy as Senegal have only lost once in their last 6 matches and they would be looking to create history by becoming quarter-finalists. Whereas for Southgate’s men, they have only won 2 of their last 6 matches and this stat is a huge positive for Senegal as they would be looking to capitalise on that.
