Deepak Chahar ruled out of T20 World Cup in Australia; Shardul Thakur named replacement

The Indian cricket team has suffered yet another blow ahead of T20 World Cup in Australia. Their ace bowler Deepak Chahar has been deemed unfit to be a part of the marquee tournament.

According to reports by Sports Tak, the bowler has suffered an injury. The nature of the injury is not yet known. But the bowler will not be traveling with the team to Australia.

In his place Shardul Thakur has been introduced. He will be leaving for Australia soon.

This leaves a huge hole in the bowling lineup.

Following the injury to Jasprit Bumrah, the Indian coaching staff will have to think of something soon.

They are yet to announce the replacement for Bumrah in the squad. Although Shami and Siraj have travelled to Australia, there’s no clarity over who will replace the ace striker.
