Croatia announce squad for FIFA World Cup

Last World Cup’s runner-up Croatia are the latest team to announce their 26-man squad that’ll fly to Qatar. They would be looking to redeem themselves in this tournament and win the trophy that they were so close to winning 4 years back.
However, achieving that won’t be so easy cause they are in a difficult group with Belgium, Morocco and Canada and to have any chance of winning the cup, they’ll have to top their group and avoid the big teams earlier in the knockout stages.
This is why they had to crucially select their team cause the match against Belgium would likely decide whether they’ll top their group or not. Now last World Cup’s player of the tournament Luka Modric would be leading his nation in Qatar in his last chance to win the prestigious trophy. Along with him, Ivan and Perisic and Mateo Kovacic have made the team list.
