Chelsea interested in services of Rafel Leao

Thomas Tuchel is definitely looking to improve his attacking options after seeing two of his best forwards leave this summer and thy were Roelu Lukaku and Timo Werner who joined Inter Milan and RB Leipzig respectively.

Leao is surely of the brightest young players as he played a crucial role in Milan’s Serie A title win last season. He contributed to the team by scoring 11 goals and also managed to create 10 assists which makes a total goal contribution of 21 and that is simply sensational.

The winger’s contract is set to expire in 2024 and this summer the club and player have held discussions over a potential renewal. However they are yet to find an agreement that suits both parties.

Milan’s coach Stefano Pioli has openly said that he is not nervous about Leao’s future but the player does have a release clause in his contract that could be triggered by Chelsea. But the release clause has been set at an astronomical amount of 150 Million Euros which at this stage of the transfer window is a significant sum amount to spend.

But if the player wishes to leave and Chelsea presents an offer of anywhere around 80-90 Million Euros, it is very likely that Milan could sell their star man. All in all,the Blues need to make a decision soon as the transfer window closes soon.
