Breaking: Nicholas Pooran Steps down from limited over captaincy of West Indies

In a shocking turn of events, Nicholas Pooran has decided to step down from his position as the Captain of West Indies’s limited over captain.
According to the reports, the player has taken this decision after the poor performance of West indies in the recently concluded World Cup.
He uploaded a emotional post on social media following his decision.
It was indeed a very poor performance by the Windies as they were ousted in the qualifier stage of the tournament after losing two games against Scotland and Ireland.
Earlier the young captain had vowed to keep going. “Obviously, we don’t know what the future holds but we will take it day by day,” Pooran said on the sidelines of the Super50 Cup, where he is set to lead Trinidad & Tobago. “Again, it was a learning experience for all of us and this is our journey and our story. Time will tell what will happen but for now, it is just about focusing on ourselves and how we can get better as individuals.
However, the decision has come in that he will no longer lead the side in the coming future.
