The umpires separated the pair and told the players not to fight during matches. Rayudu started yelling at the umpire, which sparked the fight. Sheldon Jackson began swinging recklessly and eventually got out.

Saurashtra won the toss and opted to field first. Opening batter Milesh Patel and Vishnu Solanki scored a 50 each persuading Baroda to a total of 175 in which Rayudu recorded a first ball duck. Bhani Pania’s 10-ball 26-run cameo helped in the end.

Saurashtra’s openers failed to get them off to a good start but top-order batter Samarth Vyas scored a 52-ball 97 to ensure that the total was chased down. Krunal Pandya was the standout performer with the ball as he took 2wickets in his quota of 4 overs.
